In 2005 JEVIC was accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17020:1998 General Criteria for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection. JEVIC is believed to be the first Japanese Company to be accredited to this high International Standard and first in the world for used vehicle inspections .
Accreditation can only be granted after exacting IANZ assessment against international standards ISO/IEC 17020:1998 for inspection services and includes on-site assessment by industry experts.
